Warranty Conditions of CARPETLIGHT GmbH

Warrantor:
CARPETLIGHT GmbH
Friesenweg 5F
22763 Hamburg
Germany
In addition to the statutory warranty rights, we offer a voluntary manufacturer's warranty for our products.

1. Duration, Scope, and Covered Products
The warranty applies to all products manufactured by CARPETLIGHT GmbH. We grant a uniform warranty period of 2 years (24 months) for all our products, starting from the date of delivery. This warranty applies equally to consumers (B2C) and businesses (B2B).
Geographical Scope: This warranty extends to products purchased and used within the European Union (EU).

2. Eligible Defects and Type of Warranty Service
The warranty covers material, manufacturing, and functional defects that occur within the warranty period during normal use of the product.
In the event of a warranty claim, the warranty service will generally be provided through a repair of the product, free of charge to the customer. If a repair is not possible or not economically viable, CARPETLIGHT may, at its own discretion, replace the product with an equivalent product.

3. Duty of Care, Wear and Tear, and Warranty Exclusion
Our luminaires are highly professional precision tools. A warranty claim requires proper handling. Normal wear and tear resulting from intended use, as well as the usual reduction in battery capacity due to age and use, are not considered warranty cases.

In the following cases, the warranty is completely void:
- Improper Opening: As we are the manufacturer, unauthorized opening, modification, or repair of controllers or other sealed product components will result in immediate loss of warranty.
- Mechanical Damage: External damage to cables, plugs, antennas, encoders, frames, or pins due to dropping, crushing, or force.
- Heat Damage: Defects due to insufficient heat dissipation (e.g., if the luminaire is rolled up, covered, tied down, or pressed against a surface during operation).
- Moisture Damage: Damage caused by rain or other moisture.
- Electrical Damage: Defects caused by operation with unsuitable batteries or power sources.

4. Procedure for Warranty Claims and Shipping Costs (RMA Process)
A warranty claim or repair can only be processed after prior contact with us.
1. Please report the defect in advance via our contact form or by email, including a detailed description of the fault.
2. You will then receive an official return document (RMA slip) from us, as well as shipping instructions.
3. Important: Submission and processing are only possible with this return document provided and registered by us. Unsolicited packages cannot be assigned or processed.
4. In the event of a valid warranty claim, CARPETLIGHT will bear the necessary costs of sending and returning the item in accordance with the shipping instructions provided by CARPETLIGHT.
